Before every flight
A 20-second reminder of the Advanced-operations essentials for this program:
- Pilot Certificate — Advanced Operations valid and carried; recency current.
- Aircraft registered and registration number displayed; proof carried.
- Airspace checked (NAV Drone app); authorization obtained for controlled airspace.
- Maximum 122 m (400 ft) AGL, visual line-of-sight maintained.
- Minimum 5 m horizontal from bystanders (Advanced); never over people not tolerating the risk.
- Yield right of way to all manned aircraft (helicopters / medevac).
